Accommodation

Each cottage has an en suite bathroom, a covered front deck and a private open roof terrace. The most prominent feature of the bedroom is the imposing four-poster bed with luxurious mattress.

Bathrooom The elegantly fitted bathrooms have outdoor feeling as one wall is entirely made of glass that offers uninterrupted view of the sky.

Sitting Area

While sitting on the front deck one feels as though the lush fields are right at the doorstep and while lazing on the terrace one feels as though they were floating among the fields. It feels like being embedded in the middle of a picture postcard!

Food is a serious matter in Punjabi culture and hence our food is emblematic of how Punjab welcomes you with its bounty. Breakfast comprises of breads, cereals, fruits and eggs cooked to choice. Punjabi delicacies such as straight-off-the-fire stuffed paranthas, poori–subzi or chole-bhature are also served.

You can also enjoy typical Punjabi lunch on a charpai at Punjabiyat near the farms. You will be served traditional Punjabi Lunch like Lassi, Sarson ka saag and Makke di roti, Kheer made of Sugarcane, Raita, Stuffed Naan, Butter Chicken/ Paneer and Dal makhni with white butter.

North Indian Maincourse
Dinner comprises of an open air barbecue where a sizzling array of succulent kebabs cooked over glowing coals are served with a range of other North Indian fare.

Visit to the local village and a dairy farm on a traditional horse / ox driven cart ride Visit to the local Sikh temple and the Sikh history museum nearby on a tractor and the Guests can also try their hand at driving a tractor.

Visit Local Sikh Temple

There is a famous Sikh temple (Gurudwara) called Ghallughara, 20 minutes walk or a beautiful ride on the Tractor from the lodge to listen to mesmerizing Gurubani recitals (Sikh religious songs) is an amazing experience. During weekends a mobile market is set up outside the Gurudwara where local souvenirs can be bought.

Participate in farm activities (depending on the season/month of travel and subject to farm activities) – help the farmers in their fields, understand the local crops and how they are cultivated and visit a local mandi (vegetable and grain market).
