Muba Resorts is a responsible ecotourism organization with the aim of introducing the quintessential city-dweller to the wild. We operate a chain of luxurious private forest resorts in some of the most popular wildlife reserves of India. Our name, MUBA is synonymous to happiness. It comes from the Arabic word for ‘Happiness’.
Any tropical forest is incomplete without the song of the MUBA. Incessant but beautiful, the MUBA’S voice symbolizes the very essence of the forest.

|
An essence we strive to preserve. One of our key objectives is to reduce man's dependence on our planet's rapidly dwindling forests. We try to fulfill this by engaging in a variety of activities that help man co-exist with nature, such as employing local talent, buying village produce, assisting in the sale of v illage handicraft and keeping a close eye on our forests and helping the Forest Department safeguard it.
As part of our ecotourism initiatives, we actively support the save wildlife Foundation, a local body dedicated to the cause of conservation. This gives us access to the latest norms and standards in ecotourism that we implement and adhere to in all our properties. |

NATURE WALKS
Getting up-close to nature is fully experienced only when you venture out and feel the emotions she exudes. Learn everything about the flora and fauna of the region from our naturalists who will lead you on the trail.
Bird watching
Bird watching in Kanha is an excellent pastime with over 250 species of birds been recorded here.
The Kanha region is dominated by Sal forests, but you can also find patches of shrubs around the periphery as well as a lot of cultivation around the area. The water bodies inside the park act as an attraction to a wide variety of water birds. Even when the water bodies recedes, it leaves isolated pools of water that attract a multitude of birds as fishes are trapped in them.
Some of the birds that can be found in this region are the , Grey-headed Fish Eagle, Malabar Pied Hornbill, White-bellied Woodpecker, pygmy wood peckers, crimson sunbird, drongos, hawk eagle, white eyed buzzard, minivets, Plum-headed Parakeet, shikra, etc.
Bicycle tRails
Our resort is located on acres of sky scraping sal trees and lush, tall grass (home to dozens of different birds) and a good way to explore it would be on a bicycle.
Please remember to pack a comfortable pair of sneakers and your shorts if you plan to hit the trail.
star gazing
One of the nicest things about a resort in the wilderness is the beautiful clear sky above. " In the jungle due to almost zero pollution ,at night the sky is full of millions and millions of bright twinkling stars, which you dont ever get to see in the city , and people often rememorize their poem of the twinkling stars of their childhood all over again."
Bonfires
We have bonfires at our resort every evening where you can huddle round and let our naturalists entertain you with jungle yarns. Sip a drink. Greet your fellow guests. Make new friends.
We do not allow sound systems and loud music on campus to maintain the peace and tranquility of the place. MUBA AT MUKKI is an ecotourism resort and we encourage our guests to commune with nature instead.
There are a lot of other activities you and your family could engage in at our resorts. Be sure to check with our staff when you get here.
