Whether
it's midweek or weekend, Prakriti farm is alive with
the sights and sounds of the Punjab Country. Prakriti
Farm captures the spirit and beauty of the Shivlik
hills which is renowned for its crisp country air,
bistory, and magnificent countryside. At our Farm
you can do everything (or nothing at all) and children
will be entertained while parents relaz, unwind or
enjoy the activities with their children. Discover
the delights of a leisurely stroll or a trek across
rolling hills and bush land taking in the magnificent
views of the Shivalik country side. The Shivalik mountains
also have
excellenct climate, a necessity making it perfect
for both experienced and first time trekkers. After
a trek, take a dip in the splash pool (with fresh
ground water to enjoy) or relax in a hammock overlooking
a duck pond. Spend a lazy afternoon feeding the birds,
or chatting aroudn the campfire listening to farm
stories. While you're there you may like to go visit
the Ropar wetlands to watch exotic migratory birds
Listen to the bark of the wild goat, or the peacok
call in the winter, you could be the lucky one to
spot the pug-marks of a leopard! Try your hand at
archery or shooting, bring your bikes and go bike
riding or for a relaxing walk in the country.

For those looking to chill there's nothing better than a good
book. Find a nice spot with a view or a quiet place amongst
a picturesque garden setting with a cool drink in hand. The
children will be overwhelmed with excitement of real "hands
on" farm experience, helping with the farm chores, feeding
the livestock and cuddly nursery animals. They'll also milk
the cow, bottle feed the calves, and play with 4 dogs, and
2 extremely chld friendly pupies on the farm. In case you
would like to bring your own pets, we are a pet-friendly farm,
and do welcome the newcomers. you must plant a tree when you
visit Prakriti. This will not only reverse the carbon footprint,
but give you a memory to last a lifetime. |
