Sreedhari
Sreedhari was an Ayurveda Shala (Hospital) built in 1890, functioning in Pala, Kottayam. The structure was carefully disbanded and became a part of Soma Kerala Palace in the year 2003. Today, Sreedhari has palatial rooms that are evocative of the Tharavadus of ancient Kerala.

Restaurant

Places of Interest
Located 15 km west of Kottayam Town, the village of Kumarakom is on the eastern banks of the Vembanad Lake. The Kumarakom Bird Sanctuary is spread across 14 acres of land that was previously a rubber plantation. One can spot a large variety of birds such as night herons, purple moorhen, brahminy kites, teals, egrets , waterfowls and Indian fruit bats to name a few. Kaipuzha Muttu, Pathiramanal, Narakathara, Thollayiram Kayal and Poothanpandi Kayal are also places where one can indulge in bird watching.
