It is very near Kannur town and rocky end gives an elevated view of the north side of the beach and at a distance you can see Ezhimala.The long beach is a local picnic spot (2 km from Kannur).

This two beautiful stretches of sand adjacent to each other is perhaps the most secluded beaches in Kerala.
