Ecosystem Sustainability at The RurBan Village

While reminiscing the past is important, sustaining the present for future has equal significance. The Rurban Village has been conceptualized keeping the objective of Ecosystem Sustainability in mind. We believe that we do not inherit Mother Earth from our ancestors but borrow it from our children. Thus, every effort is made to make The RurBan Village an independent and a self-sustainable unit with minimum outside influence or assistance.

The RurBan Village takes pride in protecting and improving the natural environment and having compassion for living creatures. We use solar energy to generate electricity and biogas for cooking, breed animals and birds in a safe and a natural environment, use drip irrigation, promote reforestation (We have already planted over 58,000 trees) and much more. We enthusiastically promote and share these techniques with our visitors.

We therefore, fold our hands in a warm Namastey (bow to the divine in you), and welcome you to experience the rural entertainment, sports and cultural activities and also learn modern techniques of agriculture, forestation, bio-compost, in turn helping us promote and maintain the spirit of Rural India.

The RurBan Village offers spacious, air-conditioned Swiss Tent Houses and Eco Mud Cottages to make your stay luxurious and even more memorable. Our accommodation allows you to slip into a comfortable cloud like bedding and wake up to the sound of chirping birds welcoming you to begin a new day.

The tents are made of high-quality canvas and interiors are designed very beautifully to give you an ethnic feel, to experience Rural living amist urban lifestyle. A swiss tent is based on three tiers; personal lawn, patio and finally the tent.

Additionaly, The Rurban Village offers Eco Mud Cottages that are made ground up to replicate an ethnic scence. Our Accomodation area is in itself an excusite piece to marve at and enjoy a mesmerisng sun sunset.

Swiss Tent Houses

The Rurban Village offers Luxury Tents and Royal Luxury Tents to enhance your experience at The RurBan Village. Our tents are pitched using high quality canvas and interiors are designed ethnically to give the occupant the perfect experience of living the nomad life at luxury. The tents are structured in 3 tiers, with a personal lawn on the first level, patio on the second and finally the tent on the third tier.

Eco Mud Cottages

Eco Mud Cottages at The Rurban Village are built ground up with earthy elements: stone, straw, sand and other things covered up top with thatched roofs. The thatch acts as a natural insulator keeping the interiors cool on a hot day and warm on a chilly winter night.

The inner walls will be regularly hand smeared with a paste made of clay, straw, water etc., which acts as a natural disinfectant and will keep the hut sanitized. We plan to decorate the interiors with antique mirrors and paintings using natural earth and mineral pigments creating a vibrant mood.

The natural habitat around the huts will allow you to slip into the comfortable cloud like bedding and wake up to the sound of chirping birds welcoming you to begin a new day. We cannot wait for you to experience this rustic paradise.

Just like the fresh fragrance of soil after a downpour, food from our kitchen prepared with love and handpicked ingredients is sure to leave you refreshed for a fun filled expedition at The RurBan Village. We strive to minimize external intervention in the process of cooking by utilizing either home grown or carefully picked fruits and vegetables as ingredients for dishes we serve you on your visit.

The organic waste generated during the day is fed into our bio gas plant which powers our ethnic chulhas to pipe out hot dishes.

Day Package includes a breakfast, lunch (Veg Buffet) and evening Tea alongside all activities, excluding urban adventure activities. Rurban Village Tour packages to enjoy rural sports near Delhi For people who are more interested in the Urban Adventure Activities, a trip to The Rurban village will not disappoint. The Rurban Village tour packages offer Urban Adventure Activities that can be availed on arrival.

Choose from Zorbing, Zipline, ATV, Wall climbing, boating and much more from the Village tour packages at the Rurban Village arrival. The highlight of our village tour packages are the ATV & Zipline tours that are one of the best near Delhi NCR.

The RurBan Village is home to numerous adventure activities for those who like to live life on the edge and help keep the adrenaline junkie in you, alive! Urban Adventure Activities can be availed at the Village on arrival in addition to Day Package or Accommodation, at the below mentioned price:

Zorbing: INR 400/- per person for 30 mins (min. of 6 person required)

Zip-line : INR 400/- per person per ride

ATV : INR 400/- per person per lap

Wall Climbing /Tyre Climbing : INR 300/- per person per chance

Boating : INR 400/- per couple for 15 mins per person (minimum two person required)

Adventure activities are available only as an add-on to Day Package or Accommodation booking, on arrival at the village and can not be purchased separately.

The Adventurers may be required to deposit refundable security at the time of taking game equipments. The security will be refunded at the time of returning the game equipments in the same condition.

Minimum Age for a person to avail Adventure Package is 11 years.

The Rurban Village reserves its right to cancel ticket(s) if booking is not made in conformity of the Disclaimer and Rules.
