Fort Palace - Built since 1464 AD, Neemrana Fort-Palace is India's oldest heritage resort. It is also Rajasthan's closest palace from New Delhi, situated at 122 kms. on the Delhi-Jaipur highway - only 100 kms from Delhi's international airport. Sited on a majestic plateau, concealed in a horseshoe formation of the billion year old Aravalli ranges, Neemrana became the third capital of the descendants of Prithviraj Chauhan III, who was killed in battle by Mohammad Ghori in 1192 AD. This picturesque site was chosen by Raja Rajdeo and Neemrana derived its name from a brave local chieftain Nimola Meo, who when defeated by the Chauhans, pleaded that his name be given to his lost kingdom.

The property covers 25 acres/10 hectares and the stepped palaces of this architectural jewel cut into the hillside to sprawl over 3 acres/1.2 hectares and rises to 10 levels commanding the most splendid views. From 1986, the ruins of this Fort-Palace have been sensitively restored and reconstructed. The rooms are furnished with an eclectic mix of traditional Indian and colonial furniture, antiques and object d'art. Most rooms have private balconies or terraces and the loos are designed to have views!

 Accomodation
  • Room tariff is payable in advance to confirm bookings.No charge for children below 4 years.Neemrana has five Fort-palace wings built over nine levels! (marked alongside) Should you want two or more adjacent rooms, please make a request while booking. The reservation office shall try its best, but all categories of rooms are not always found together.Only one extra bed can be provided per room @ Rs. 300/-, where space permits.Check-in time is 2 pm. Check-out time is 12 noon.The entire fort can be chartered by paying Rs. 15,000/- extra.
  • Luxury tax as per Government regulations.
 Meals
  • Bed tea and evening tea are included in the room rent.Fixed menus are offered at the per head rates of Rs.200/- for breakfast, Rs. 400/- for lunch and Rs 400/- for dinner.No charge for children below 4 years and half rates for children below 10 years. Charges for non-residents are: breakfast Rs. 350/-, lunch Rs. 550/- and dinner Rs. 550/-. (taxes extra)Breakfast is served from 8 to 9.30 am, lunch from 12.30 to 2.30 pm and dinner from 8 to 10 pm.Bar facilities are available for residents only. Personal liquor is not permitted.
  • Sales tax (8%) and surcharge (15% of sales tax) on food & beverages - subject to change as per Government regulations.
 Non Residents
  • Visitors not staying at Neemrana Fort-Palace will be allowed entry, only if the Fort is not fully chartered. They will be charged Rs. 200* per head for visiting the public areas for 2 hours, between 9 am & 5 pm only. Two children below 12 are allowed free with their parents.
  • 100% adjustable against rooms tariff.
 Conferences, Weddings and Photography
  • For weddings and celebrations - the entire fort can be chartered at an extra cost of Rs 15,000/- in addition to the room costs.Conference facilities are available at a charge of Rs 5,000/- for the Giri Mahal, or at the Darbar Mahal. Rs.10,000 is charged for non-residents. Conference equipment is provided as per actual costs, on a prior notice.
  • Rates for fashion photography and filming are available on request.
 Cancellation Charges
  • 25% if cancelled four days in advance.50% if cancelled two days in advance.50% if few of the total booked rooms are cancelled.100% if cancelled one day prior to booking or on the same day.
  • Credit card cancellations will be charged 3% extra.
 Regulations
  • Rates for fashion photography and filming are available on request.Luxury tax 10% on room tariff Sales tax 8% and surcharge (15% of sales tax).
  • All applicable taxes and charges are subject to Government regulations.
 Discount
  • Off-season discount: 25% on air conditioned rooms, 50% on air cooled and other rooms from 1st April to 30th September.
