The Sariska Palace stands proud of its royal and historic origins. The Palace, designed by a French architect in 1892 was built under the patronage of maharaja Jai Singh of Alwar to commemorate the visit of Queen Victoria 's son, the duke of connaught.
Its glorious past as the Royal Hunting Lodge lends itself perfectly to its present as a luxurious Heritage Hotel.
This Palace was originally a royal hunting lodge located 199 kms. from Delhi and 120 kms from Jaipur, Sariska Palace is today a Palace Hotel with all the amenities to make the guest feel like a Maharajah. Each room is richly furnished with original Louis Quartz and art deco furniture. Excursion
An extraordinary temple town, it prospered for more
than 10 centuries, surrounded as it was by dense forests,
alive with wild animals said to predate the Khajuraho
temple, these are again a series of exquisitely carved
temples chiseled by great craftmen who remained anonymous
in the best Indian tradition. Hindu, Buddhist and
jain cults are represented here, testifying to a great
age of tolerance. A colossal statue of the 23rd Jain
Tirthankara, Parashvanathan, an image of the elephant
headed Ganesha with a woman seated on his knee, and
a reclining Vishnu, are truly outstanding. A rare
image of Vishnu in his "Varaha"(boar) incarnation
is a theme repeated at Bhangarh and Talbraksha clearly
indicative of the size of this Gujar-Partihar kingdom
which reached its zenith, during 750-950 A.D.

our guests a sneak preview of the area, villages,

WildlifeSariska Tiger Reserve
Spread over 866 sq. Kms with a core area of approximately
500 sq kms, The Sariska Tiger reserve was created
in the year 1978 in Alwar district of Rajsthan. It
is one of the 27 tiger reserves created by Government
of India under Project Tiger to protect the decreasing
population of Tigers. Sariska is popular among wild
life & nature lovers for its Naturally beautiful
sights & Bio - diversity.
Sariska
wild life senctuary is situated approx. 37 Kms away
from Alwar, 200 Kms from Delhi & 107 Kms from
Jaipur, is also praised for its fabulous landscape.
