Pushkar
one of the jewels of the great desert of Rajasthan is the famous holy
town. It is here amongst the temples and ghats surrounding the holy lake,
that 'Brahma' the creator dropped a lotus flower and performed a vedic 'Yagna'
during the month of Kartika which gives birth to the Puskar festival. the
temple here is the only temple in india dedicated to Lord Brahma.
According
to the Hindu calendar Pushkar Fair commences from Nawami
(Ninth Moon) to Purnima (Full Moon) in the month of Kartika, which can be
in October or November depends on the calendar, which goes with the moon. Here
one of the biggest Cattle Fair is held for trading purposes and the best
cattles in all categories are awarded. Countless people in their colourful
attire gather to take a dip in the Holy Lake and Pray to the Deities. The
whole town comes alive with vibrant folk music and dances, magic shows,
horse and camel races and various other traditional entertainment
competitions. The famous Pushkar Fair is being held in November every year

& Excursions
During
the great Pushkar fair held after the festival of Diwali pushkar
become vibrant with folk dances, magic shows horses and camel
races and many more traditional entertaining competitions. over
100,000 camels, bullocks and horses are traded during the days
of festival. Pushkar with a dozen of local fairs and festivals
of 10-15 day duration is a round the year destination. it is
mellowed by the great expanse of the lake water and perfumes
of the jasmine and rose flowers.
Hotel
Pushkar Palace has well appointed 30 Deluxe Rooms and 9
Suites with all facilities in the rooms. Hotel has two floors,
most of the rooms including all suites are overlooking the lake
and has garden view.
Spacious
Air Conditioned rooms for single, double, triple and family
accommodation are available with satellite television, telephone
and minibar. Quality mattresses and linen are being used to
make the stay more comfortable. Each room has different period
furniture, frescoes, family portraits and decoration of old
paintings, which create a great ambience.

Although
Hotel Pushkar Palace has no conference hall
in the hotel premises, but this facility can
be availed at it’s branch hotel which is hardly
500 yards away. Jagat Singh Palace Hotel has
got fully Air-conditioned Conference Hall
with all the facilities and a capacity of
100 to 150 persons. Size of the hall is about
2000 Sq.ft. where seating plan can be arranged
as per the requirement of the conference.
Beautiful frescoes are painted in the "Durbar
Hall".
Safaris:
Jeep,
Camel, Horse, Bicycle and Motor Cycle can
be arranged on request for a few hours, half
day and over night at very reasonable rates
Camping:
The
Hotel is running a Camp called Royal Desert
Camp for the past 20 years at Ganahera Motisar
Road, Pushkar. This camp has 234 Swiss Cottages
with bath, running hot and cold water round
the clock. It has a Five star Deluxe accommodation
with two dinning halls of 600 covers, Coffee
shop and a Soft Bar. It runs during Pushkar
festival for 7 days on request we are camping
for various companies. We serve Continental,
Chinese and Indian food at camp and the camp
is located 1.5 kms from the Mela ground and
15 minutes drive by camel cart.
Karwan:
they
provide on request Camel Karwan to our guests
and these Camel Carts (the Camel Rath) have
comfortable seating arrangement and are covered
with Canopies. Four people can sit to a Camel
Cart & go around the town for sightseeing
of Temples, Bathing Ghats & the town.

Prince’s
Restaurant is a multicusine restaurant which
serves Continental, Chinese and Indian food
in several varieties by professional and experienced
staff. It
serves breakfast, lunch and dinner as per A-la
carte and Buffet. Tea, Coffee and room service
is available from 6 A.M. to 11 P.M. 70 Covers
in the dining hall and 80 covers outside in
the garden on the lake from where you can see
the whole of Pushkar, with a capacity of 150
in total, it is very famous restaurant in the
town. People can enjoy their meals sitting outside
in the garden while watching natural beauty
followed by Rajasthani folk dance and cultural
activities. Prince’s Restaurant has an additional
facility of German Bakery which provides
a number of Bakery Items.

Rajasthani camel carts having covered
top with seating arrangements takes our guests
to Brahma temple old Rang jee temple
escorted by a group escort who explains about
Hindu Religion, Pushkar, Brahma, god & goddess.
The guests are then taken to Hotel Pushkar Palace
where they can see the sunset and after having
a cup of tea & snacks the Karwan leaves
for Jagat Singh Palace.
