a 100 years ago by Rao Bijay Singh the 16th descendant of the
erstwhile Masuda ‘Istimrardari’ (a category higher than ‘ Jagirdars’
of the then Rajputana). as a getaway retreat about the same
time he founded the town of Bijaynagar, also named after him.
Bijay Niwas is ideally situated in the heartlands of Rajasthan
at Bijaynagar almost equi-distant between major destinations
like UDAIPUR-JAIPUR (via Chittorgarh N.H.79), JODHPUR-JAIPUR
(via Beawar), JODHPUR-RANTHAMBORE> With Pushkar – Ajmer just
over an hour away.

Accommodation :
Bijay Niwas has three varieties of rooms, namely ‘heritage’
(in the main palace), ‘garden’ rooms and ‘burj’ rooms. 15 in
all including 2 heritage suites, all air conditioned with modern
facilities. The rooms are adorned with original delicately painted
walls and ceilings which give the place an air of peace and
tranquility. Most rooms contain original period furniture, works
of art and early prints of famous contemporary Indian artists
like Amrita Sher Gill, Sharda Ukil and Jamini Roy etc.

Dining You can relish the truly Indian or even continental
cuisines in delicious flavours and delight in their tempting
aromas, served with royal pride and courtesy. There are many
options for enjoying your meals just about anywhere you choose,
they could be either in the comfort of the fabulously painted

enjoy ‘al-fresco’ dining in the open with bar-be-que. Breakfast
in the gardens surrounded with some huge rare trees, chirping
